National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination
Purpose of the Exam: For Admission to 3-Year B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration Program at Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) Affiliated with National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology.

B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration Program is aimed at providing professionals for Hotels & Resorts; Railway Catering; Shipping & Cruise lines; Airlines (on-board and on-ground); Restaurant Chains; Hospital Chains; Hotel Management Institutes and several other opportunities in other service sectors. The program is offered by NCHMCT in cooperation with Indira Gandhi National Open University.
Eligibility
- Pass in 12th of 10+2 or equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Students from Science; Commerce; Humanities and other recognized streams may apply. Students who are to appear in the 12th examination in year 2011 are also eligible to apply.
- 22 years in case of General/Open/OBC (Central list non-creamy layer)/PH/Kashmiri Migrant candidates. 25 years in case of SC/CT category candidates.
Reservation of Seats
15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC & 3% for PH (across board) all categories. One seat (supernumery) in each affiliated IHM shall be provided for Registered Kashmiri migrants subject to notification from Ministry of HRD.
Application Form
Candidates may apply by downloading Registration Form duly filled in along with fee of Rs.950/- (Rs.900+Rs.50 for Speed Post charges) for General/ OBC categories & Rs.500/- (Rs.450+Rs.50 for Speed Post charges) for SC/ST categories through demand draft / pay order drawn in favour of ‘National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology, NOIDA’ payable at NOIDA/ DELHI and send it by ‘ SPEED POST’ to JEE CELL, NCHMCT, A-34, Sector -62, NOIDA 201301 at the earliest, but not later than 25th March, 2010.
On receiving the Registration from, NCHMCT shall dispatch OMR Application & Information Brochure 2010 to such applicants.
Offline: Application Form can be downloaded from www.nchmct.org from 28th November 2010 along with instructions and other details. Duly filled in application be forwarded to JEE Cell, NCHMCT, A-34, Sector 62, NOIDA-201301 along with application fee of Rs.900/- for Gen/OBC candidates and Rs.450/- for SC/ST/PH candidates through Demand Draft drawn in favour of National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, payable at NOIDA / New Delhi.
Online: For on-line submission of applications from 10th December 2010. Candidates can pay the application fee through Credit/Debit Cards. Fee for on-line mode is Rs.900/- for Gen/OBC candidates and Rs.450/- for SC/ST/PH candidates.
