Sports Quota

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) aspirants who want to get admission through the sports quota can start applying.

“The application process for undergraduate and post-graduate non-professional courses will open from Monday and will be for outstanding sportspersons only,” said Simi Malhotra, media coordinator, JMI.

The applicants should have represented their university, state or region in certain sports and will have to undergo sports trails.

The prospectus and admission forms will be available at the Office of Games and Sports in the university campus between 10 am and 5 pm.

“JMI, along with the University of Delhi, is helping the city host the Commonwealth Games. As a result, we have better facilities for sportspersons starting this year,” said Malhotra. The admissions will be done on the basis of trials and achievements.
