Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIP), also know as Indraprastha University (IP) is teaching University , established by Government of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999.The University has been accredited "A Grade" by NAAC during Feb- March 2007. The University is ISO 9001:2000 Certified.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts engineering entrance exams for B.tech and M.Tech programs.The university is conducting common entrance exam for B.Tech and M.Tech programs on 30th May 2009 for the session 2010-2011.

The test centers for the Guru Gobind Sing Indraprastha University common entrance test are Delhi, Lucknow, Bhopal, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Bangalore and Jaipur.

Students who want to app[era for M.Tech/B.Tech Entrance Exams need a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in Physics, chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 board exams.The age of candidate should not be more then 21 years to qualify for the entrance test.

The University is running more than 60 programmes in 8 University Schools and 86 Institutes (Government as well as self-financing) affiliated to it.
