AIEEE Online Test

AIEEE Online

Every student likes to see his/her results, immediately after the examination. Hence, if there is a provision for this via AIEEE online, then definitely everybody would grab it! The CBSE would be conducting AIEEE via online from the year 2011 onwards. Hence, it would be conducted in the similar way, via which the CAT is conducted in India. Of course, it is going to be challenging, as around 11 lakh students would be taking the exam.

Thus, the biggest challenge would be to make it system oriented exam, hence, as soon as the students finish the exam the result should be displayed in the system without errors. This is going to be really tough, as the already existed format of the AIEEE comprises of a structure in which the students would attend the entrance examination and would be waiting for the results and would be receiving the same, say within a time frame of about 10 to 15 days.

Thus, the organizing team had ample time to correct the exam and releasing the results of the exam, but now, it is no more the case with the new scheme of AIEEE. But in a way it is good too, because the human errorswould be eradicated to a great extent, because at some occasions, the humans are prone to parallax errors, and other related errors, due to some kind of inefficiencies, etc… Thus, conducting AIEEE via online bears both positive and negative sides too, such as:

  • Since it is going to get accomplished via online, the students have to finish the sections on time, i.e. a student has to complete the chemistry section in the question paper within the allotted time, if not could end up inlosing some questions in the sections.
  • In the existing AIEEE pattern, if a student wishes to revise the sections, which he had already attended, then the student would be able to do so, but this would not be possible in the new scheme of AIEEE, because once the section is completed, it cannot be opened again, either revision, or for editing the same.
  • The new scheme of AIEEE would enable the students to see their scores immediately after the examination. In that way, the students could be relaxed and hence there would not be any tension waiting for the results.
  • The efficiency of AIEEE that is conducted via online is better than the already existed system and could also be trusted.
  • But organizing the online AIEEE in the centers would be really challenging, as the number of students attending the exam are tremendous. If they are going to implement some biometric solutions for identity registrations, then it would become a real time challenge, as they have to ensure that it doesn’t become too messy inside the study centers, when so many students are lined up for the examination.
  • Preparing the schedule too would also be tough, as the CBSE has to consider many features, such as, the number of regionspercentage of students, corresponding to each region, number of quality study centers that could be organized for accommodating the number of students, implementing other registration procedures and identity verification procedures, etc… Hence, it is big task for CBSE and it planning with the AIEEE board in deciding on the effective ways of conducting the examination.
