## AIEEE 2011 Analysis

## AIEEE 2011 Analysis

The exam was a 3 hour paper (12 noon to 3.00pm) with 90 questions in total for 360 marks . The order of the subject and the choices were completely jumbled in these 4 versions . There were 4 versions for AIEEE 2011 – P,Q,R,S.Each subject had 30 questions and the pattern was exactly the same for all the subjects. There were 4 choices in all questions. In Physics, there were 3 questions with assertion-reasoning type and no comprehension type. In Maths there were 5 assertion-reasoning type questions and no comprehension. Chemistry did not have any comprehension based or assertionreasoning based questions. Correct answer carried 4 marks and -1 for wrong answers. Physics was quite difficult, chemistry can be put in a level from medium to simple and maths was easy.

## AIEEE 2010 Analysis

The Test Booklet consists of 90 questions. The maximum marks are 432. There are three parts in the question paper. The distribution of marks subjectwise in each part is as under for each correct response. Part A — Chemistry (144 marks) — Questions No. 4 to 16 and 20 to 30 consist of FOUR (4) marks each and Questions No. 1 to 3 and 17 to 19 consist of EIGHT (8) marks each for each correct response. read more

## AIEEE 2009 Analysis

The format of a single paper test Was retained. The number of questions was reduced per section to 30 from 35 last year. This Made it a paper of 90 questions to be attempted in 3 hours. The marking scheme was Changed this year. Each section of the paper was of 144 marks means a total of 432 marks. Out of 30 questions in each section 24 questions carried 4 marks with negative marks and 6 question of 8 marks with negative marking. read more

## AIEEE 2008 Analysis

The format of a single paper test was retained. The number of questions were reduced per section to 35 from 40 last year. This made it a paper of 105 questions to be attempted in 3 hours. The uniform marking scheme was stuck to this year as well. Each question, irrespective of the subject, carried 3 marks. The negative marking was -1 for every incorrect answer. Total marks were 315. read more

## AIEEE 2007 Analysis

About 50% questions in Mathematics and Physics were fairly simple or straightforward requiring direct use of formula/result or law. For Chemistry this number was about 30%. About 60% of the Chemistry part comprised of questions that either were not direct or required a little time to arrive at the answer. read more

## AIEEE 2006 Analysis

The standard of the question paper was very m uch in the expected lines of last years’ paper. There were few standard questions, which were not difficult for the students to answer, and a smart student could answer those sections straightaway and save time to spend on other questions, which were tim e consum ing. The whole paper consisted of som e speed ‘breakers’ as well which were evenly distributed in all the sections. The chemistry section was supposed to be the toughest one. read more

## AIEEE 2005 Analysis

All the questions were not of equal weight ageThere were 10 questions each of which carries 11/2 marks, 10 questions with 41/2 marks each and remaining 55 questions carrying 3 marks for each question. This was the case in all the 3 sections and of course the negative marks for each wrong answer would be 1/3rd of the marks allocated for that question. read more

## AIEEE 2004 Analysis

AIEEE 2004 was more or less at same difficulty level as compared to the paper of last year. However, the mathematics section was slightly lengthier as compared to other sections. As per our analysis and discussions with our students, the Physics section was easier of all the three sections, and in Chemistry section, organic part was a bit confusing. read more
